Publications & Research

Archaeological fieldwork does not begin and end with the excavation of new and exciting discoveries. Much of the hard work takes place after the excavations are completed as scholars, specialists, and students take up the essential work of conducting research to contextualize the results of excavations and make them available to the wider public through publications and presentations.

The Friends of Morgantina supports this essential work through publication subventions and research grants, which we can offer to individuals working on publication projects sponsored by the American Excavations at Morgantina.
